Funeral Transfers

Casual rostered on call position to collect deceased and take them to the funeral home. There may also be opportunities to assist at funerals and setup gravesides.

Must be available to work weekends. Days and nights are varied depending on requirements and available staff.
Must be able to drive and reverse manual transfer vans.
Must have good phone manner.
Must have excellent presentation.
Must be willing to undergo a police check.
Must be able to work in a team situation. Staff always go out in a team of 2 so the ability to work flexibly with others is a requirement.
All training supplied however previous first aid experience is preferred.
There is a requirement to touch and move the deceased in a safe and dignified manner.
As staff are on call there is a requirement that they live within 30 minutes peak period of Edwardstown SA.

Tri-Transfers is currently seeking up to three people to undertake the transfer of loved ones to funeral homes. This requires a special caring professional touch.
During the initial training period hours may be limited however as experience is gained hours will increase.

Applicant must either have had a flu vax, with evidence, or be willing to have a flu vax. Must also be up to date with Co-vid vaccine.
