Wests New Lambton are seeking an experienced Gaming Attendant to join our team and contribute to the overall leadership and development of the department. Are you looking for the opportunity to step up and lead a small team??
Wests are seeking a Gaming Attendant/Relief Gaming Supervisor to join their New Lambton club operations team on a casual basis (potential permanent position for the right candidate). As well as performing the inherent responsibilities of a Gaming Attendant, this position will also involve acting as a relief Gaming Supervisor when needed (Training provided).
Key responsibilities include:
- Provide extraordinary customer service to our members and guests
- Gaming machine service, reset payout jackpot wins
- Drink orders and delivery to machines
- Provide training and mentoring to develop new and existing team members
- Promote positive and supportive team culture
- Ensure compliance to Registered Clubs Act, Liquor Act, ILGR Regulations and Gaming Machine Act.
- A proven ability to resolve gaming disputes & complaints for e.g. stolen tickets
- Operation of Tab and Keno terminals
- Cleaning of work station and equipment
- Operation of tills and cash handling
- Collect glasses from the floor and return to bar areas for cleaning
This position is ideal for an experienced bar and gaming candidate seeking a direct pathway into a management position within our clubs. We provide career development and traineeship opportunities to shape our employees into the leaders and customer service superstars they aim to be.
This position will require availability on Friday nights and weekends, with reasonable availability Monday to Thursday. As this position is key during peak periods for our venues, shifts are rostered from the evening through to early hours of the morning.
Certifications required: RSA & RCG
