Who We Are
Duxton Hospitality is one of the fastest growing pub groups in the state and continues to expand its operations across regional and metropolitan South Australia.
We are currently seeking a Gaming Duty Managerto also work across various departments including bar, bistro and gaming. Located an hour out of Adelaide, the “Swanny” serves up great pub meals in the bistro, a wide range of drinks at the sports bar and a fleet of machines in the gaming room for those who want to have a punt.
Key Responsibilities
- Work closely with and support of the Venue Manager, assisting with operations across the venue;
- Represent the hotel in a positive and professional manner;
- Train and motivate staff whilst driving the importance of providing exceptional customer service;
- Troubleshoot gaming machine issues promptly and efficiently;
- Handle cash transactions accurately and responsibly;
- Replenish gaming machine supplies to ensure uninterrupted gameplay;
- Flexibility to work across all departments of the hotel, fostering harmonious relationships with all employees and patrons;
- Ability to write daily reports to be communicated to the team;
- Promote a mindset of continuous improvement across all venue operations, encouraging an acceptance to change to improve hotel operations; and
- Availability to work over 7-day roster, including late nights and weekends.
About you
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to work under pressure and to deadlines;
- Able to accept significant levels of responsibility and accountability;
- Strong administration skills to aid communication and perform required reporting tasks;
- Previously held positions in a similar leadership role;
- RSA certified; RP badged, RSG and Advanced Gaming preferred;
- Experience with H&L is advantageous.
