About the role
We are currently on the look out for a passionate and proactive Gaming Manager to join the friendly & professional team at the Benowa Tavern. We have a bustling Gaming Room, and are looking for someone who understands the ins and outs of the business and what is required of the role. If you haven't any Management experience, this can be overlooked for someone with the correct attitude.
The successful applicants will need to demonstrate:
- Must have experience in a hospitality role or similar. Extra points if you have worked previously within ALH.
- Previous experience in a Gaming Manager role or similar is desirable but for the right candidate can be overlooked.
- Excellent personal presentation and attention to detail.
- Sound negotiation and complaint handling skills.
- Current OLGR approved RSA, RSG, RMLV and Approved manager's licence.
- Proactive paperwork handling skills, including organization, money handling, and understanding of compliance.
- Enthusiasm about the job and industry. We want someone who takes pride in their work, and their gaming room.
- Ability to supervise and lead a team of staff.
- The desire to succeed and build a career within the hospitality industry.
Availability for shifts including days, nights and weekends is a must.
Your ability to deliver and maintain a customer experience that is of a consistently high service standard will see you excel in this position. As will the ability to lead a team and pass your skills and knowledge onto keen hospitality people seeking a career within this industry.
