POSITION OVERVIEW:
We are seeking enthusiastic and service-oriented individuals to join our team at the Wantirna Club. You will play a crucial role in providing exceptional customer service and creating memorable experiences for our guests. This position requires a combination of excellent interpersonal skills, attention to detail, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Greet guests warmly, engage in friendly conversations, and provide exceptional service throughout their visit.
- Foster strong teamwork and communication to enhance overall operational efficiency.
- Gaming Operations: Supervise and manage the gaming floor, ensuring smooth operations and adherence to gaming regulations and venue policies. Monitor gaming activities, assist guests with game selection, explain rules, and provide guidance on game procedures.
- Game Maintenance: Monitor the condition and functionality of gaming equipment, promptly reporting any maintenance or repair needs. Coordinate with the maintenance team to ensure all gaming equipment is operational and well-maintained.
- Safety and Security: Enforce safety protocols and ensure compliance with gaming regulations and venue policies. Monitor the gaming floor for any potential security concerns, handling situations discreetly and professionally. Assist in conducting routine security procedures, such as ID verification and age restrictions.
- Cash Handling: Oversee cash transactions related to gaming activities, including exchanging chips and processing payouts. Ensure accurate accounting of funds and maintain proper documentation as per regulatory requirements.
- Problem Resolution: Address and resolve customer complaints or issues related to gaming activities promptly and efficiently. Take appropriate action to resolve conflicts and ensure customer satisfaction, escalating matters to management when necessary.
- Compliance and Reporting: Stay updated on gaming regulations, ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal laws. Maintain accurate records, reports, and documentation as required by regulatory bodies.
ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:
- Previous experience in a customer service role, gaming environment preferred.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and connect with diverse customers.
- Strong multitasking abilities to handle multiple tables and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced setting.
- Basic math skills for order processing, bill calculations, and cash handling.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays, as required in the hospitality industry.
- Familiarity with gaming regulations and compliance procedures is preferred.
- Current Responsible Service of Gambling qualification.
