The Other Side, one of Claremont's most iconic venues, is currently recruiting for a full-time Cafe Manager with demonstrated experience to join our team. The Other Side is part of The Pantry Group, which owns Daisies Cottesloe and Ol’ Buoy.

About the role:
You will report to the Venues Manager and support the day-to-day running of the business. You will be entrusted with providing the highest level of customer service and responsible for supervising daily shifts.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensuring an iconic experience for customers and staff at The Othe Side
- Leading the front-of-house staff and promoting a positive and respectful work environment
- Daily ordering from suppliers and ensuring costs are kept in accordance with the company.
- Assisting with administrative tasks (rostering, banking, and emailing)
- Working closely with the kitchen team and supervisors to ensure greater improvement initiatives within the business.
What will you bring:
- Solid Barista experience
- Strong communication and organisation skills
- Strong work ethic and positive ‘can do’ attitude
- Excellent interpersonal, communication and reporting skills
- Manage the daily operations of the venue
- Building strong customer relationships and a strong focus on achieving excellent customer service
- Managing and nurturing relationships between staff and management in all areas
- Management, training and recruitment of staff
- Previous proven experience in managing/leading, training/developing and mentoring a medium to large team to achieve common goals
- A confident approach, with the ability to effectively communicate at all levels of the business
- Driver’s license, two years of experience in a similar position
