About the role:
We're looking for a Gas Fitter to join Origin’s LPG Somerton Terminal. The position provides Gas Fitting services for the installation and maintenance of gas equipment at Origin customer and terminal sites.
Why this role matters?
- Complete new scheduled LPG installations in line with required codes and standards
- Provide advice on LPG installations to customers and internal contacts
- Completion of required documents under the permit to work system
- Review existing installations to ensure they comply with current industry standards and Origin codes and provide information or quote to bring up to the current standards
- Complete records in accordance with statutory and company requirements for bulk tanks, cylinders and terminal
- Provide quotations for account managers for new or upgraded installations in line with required codes and standards

What will you bring?
- You are a trade qualified Gas Fitter, with full type A license
- Prior domestic experience with exposure to performing B type servicing, breakdowns and installation of gas appliances. Plumbing/Draining and Electrical Licences are desirable, yet not essential.
- You place a high priority on searching for new ways to gain efficiency without sacrifice to the customer, service, and safety.
- You are comfortable with obtaining your Medium Rigid licence
