Form of workGoulburn-Murray Water (GMW) is Australia’s largest rural water corporation responsible for storing, managing and delivering water across most of northern Victoria. GMW provides more than 39,000 services to about 25,000 customers in its operating region.
About the roleBased in Tatura, you will join the Workshop Team within the Infrastructure Delivery Services division. You will be required to conduct repairs, maintenance and commissioning pumps, mechanical equipment and machinery, both locally and across the entire GMID (Goulburn Murray Irrigation District).
What do you need?
- Relevant trade qualification – A Certificate III in Fitting and Machinery
- Car licence and HR licence
- Problem solving and decision-making abilities.
- Experience in mechanical service, maintenance and repairs of:
- Pump station infrastructure
- fleet of excavation/truck/plant and equipment
- automated assets (Flume gates, Flood/Reg gate/valves hydraulics and gearboxes)
