About this opportunity:
We are currently searching for a Gearbox Fitter with extensive previous experience to join our team of top tier fitters in Canning Vale.
From the precision of gearbox overhauls to the intricacies of bogie assemblies, seawater transfer pumps, and exciters, every day will bring new challenges and opportunities to showcase your skills.
About you
- Trade Certificate.
- Minimum 5 years' experience as a Gearbox Fitter.
- Able to demonstrate proven expertise in mining fixed plant equipment within a workshop environment.
- A strong commitment to HSE and QA as a priority, and the ability to work unsupervised and function well within a team environment.
- Hydraulic experience would be advantageous.
What will you be doing?
- Assembling machines and equipment with precision and expertise.
- Using advanced measuring instruments to ensure accuracy and fit of metal parts.
- Operating equipment safely and efficiently.
- Diagnosing faults and executing full strip, assess, and reporting procedures.
- Working autonomously with confidence, particularly in handling gearboxes.
- Applying your minimum 5 years of stripping and rebuilding experience.
