Qualifications & experience
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, or a related field or higher.
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar field.
Tasks & responsibilities
- Preparing monthly, quarterly, and yearly financial statements.
- Looking after accounts payable and receivable and staff reimbursements accurately according to the accounting and financial policies and procedures.
- Daily reconciliations and resolving accounting discrepancies and irregularities
- Manage accurate and appropriate recording and analysis of revenues and expenses
- Preparing Cash Flow Statement, and Reconciliation Statement
- Preparing annual GST Returns, Business Activity Statement, and Payroll Tax.
- Organizing, meet deadlines, think quickly, and multitasking
- Proficient understanding of payroll compliance, legislation, taxation, and superannuation.
- Calculation and processing of termination payments when required and deliver timely and accurate payment of employee salaries.
