To ensure accurate financial reporting through monthly reconciliations, coordinate diverse financial reports, manage BAS and ATO compliance, analyse variances, enhance processes, oversee loan repayments, maintain platform reconciliations, manage investor funds and broker commissions, and uphold regulatory compliance
Key Responsibilities:
- Monthly reconciliation process and representation of Balance sheet and P&L reports
- Monthly creation of WHT reports, Defaults, Surcharges, Interest earned calculations and Statements.
- Consolidating and preparing all necessary information to process BAS and other ATO requirements.
- Provide detail analysis on the PL variances
- Development and formulation substantial reports for repeated usage and provide input in to process improvements
- Preparation of key daily/weekly/monthly reconciliations regarding loan repayments in a timely manner
- Review setup of loan repayment schedules in ACH
- Preparing reports for the Tax Returns
- Balance Monthly reconciliation process of Xero and Orgmeter and Line of Credit for the correct representation of Balance sheet and P&L reports
- Daily management of investor funds
- Management of manual loan repayments
- Liaising with brokers in regard to the commissions payable for the loans
- Maintaining Internal control systems and Comply with financial policies and regulations
- Providing support with audits
Skills & Experience:
Qualifications:
- BSc in Accounting, Finance or relevant degree
- Additional certification (CPA or CMA) is a plus
- at least 2 years previous experiences in the same role
Skills:
- Excellent knowledge of accounting regulations and procedures, including the Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
- Advanced Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook)
- Knowledge of Orgmter, LOC and ACH
- Experience with general ledger functions
- Excellent verbal and written communication
- Organised and able to meet deadlines
- Fast thinker and able to multitask
