Raisebore Australia is the largest privately-owned raiseboring company in Australia, specialising in providing raisebore services to the mining industry. Our raise drill rigs operate across NSW, QLD, SA, and, WA.
Raisebore Australia also forms part of the Raisebore Group of Companies which includes Contract Mining businesses DRC Drilling and 360 Mining. As a Group our suite of services allows our clients to cover a multitude of activities with one contractor.
Our Head Office is located in Somerton Park, SA where most of our support service functions for the Group are based.
ABOUT THIS OPPORTUNITY
We have an opportunity for an experienced Administrator who is looking for a challenge in a fast-paced setting and who has an eye for detail.
This position provides a range of accounts administration support to Raisebore Australia predominantly, but our small team environment will allow for the opportunity to work closely with all entities. Reporting to the Group Financial Controller (GFC), the successful candidate with the right attitude will have the potential to become an integral part of the Group's support service.
We currently use MYOB as our main accounting software package, so this position would suit someone who has had exposure to MYOB previously, however, candidates with a strong diverse understanding of accounting systems/practices are still encouraged to apply.
Some of the responsibilities will include:
- Day-to-day administration of accounts payable tasks (matching purchase orders to invoices, supplier statements, reconciliations);
- In consultation with our operations team and other Raisebore Australia administrators, continuous reconciliation of operational activity data that assists with end-of-month claims;
- Working closely with our GFC and the operations team to raise end-of-month invoices;
- Assist with reconciliation of credit cards;
- Create and issue purchase orders in accordance with site requirements;
- Champion the accounting system and continuously work with the GFC for improved efficiencies;
- Assist with other administration tasks as required.
This position:
- Is based in our Somerton Park office on a Monday - Friday basis.
- It is a full-time position only.
- Our office hours are generally between 8am-8.30am to 5.00pm.
WHAT WE NEED FROM YOU
- Accounts administration experience within a contracting/construction/engineering project-based work environment is preferred;
- Strong communication and team-building skills (our workforce is predominantly remote);
- Experience with MYOB or demonstrate a natural ability/interest to learn and develop accounting systems autonomously;
- Advanced Microsoft Suite skills, especially within Excel;
- Be resilient with a positive attitude and able to work under pressure.
