About the role
We have a fantastic opportunity within our Engineering Maintenance team! We are currently seeking a self-motivated, enthusiastic and skilled individual to join us.
This position will perform a diverse range of tasks associated with the maintenance of the City of Swan’s diverse range of infrastructure assets. This includes, but is not limited to, roads, public access ways, footpaths and drainage.
The tasks undertaken contributes to provide safe and efficient maintenance services within the City and to improve the quality of life of all people who live in, work and visit the City of Swan.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Comply with relevant Workplace Health and Safety legislation and complete all work in a safe and efficient manner, having regard to own safety, the public’s safety and that of other workers
- Ensure you and your team deliver outstanding customer service and be community minded with a willingness to improve the quality of life for our Community
- Operate and maintain all associated plant in accordance to City policy and procedures
- Carry out a variety of tasks as associated with the maintenance of the City’s infrastructure assets
- Assist, as required, in the maintenance of other areas within the City
About you
The successful candidate will have the following:
- Adaptable to working with multiple teams of different disciplines
- Ability to easily learn a diverse range of activities or tasks
- HR Driver’s License
- Safety Awareness Training Certificate (White Card)
- A satisfactory National Police Certificate is required.

The salary for this position will be from $63,592 to $64,417 per annum, depending on the skills and experience of the successful applicant.
