About the role:
This is a General hand position for a globally recognised company who manufacture IBC's - intermediate bulk containers that are designed and certified to handle, transport and store bulk dangerous goods, food products and everything in between. Your duties whilst onsite will vary depending on the section you get assigned to, You will however be required to operate powerhand tools confidently and have the ability to lift between 15kg to 25kg repeatedly.
There are 3 MAIN sections you may get assinged to:
- Washing Bay - Washing out IBC containers with a high pressure hose and removing lids off the containers for the next stage. This is a very WET environment, PPE gear for this section will be provided by site
- Shredding Bay - Placing thed washed IBC containers into a large machine to be shreeded (Machine operation )
- Lining Bay - Operating powerhand tools e.g Drills and assembling steel frames, Then placing those frames over IBC containers
To be successful:
- Must have experience with POWERHAND tools e.g Drills
- Must be comfortable operating a high pressure hose
- Must be a perm resident or Australian Citizen (No student visas due to perm placements )
- Must be able to work Monday to Friday (5 Days minimum)
- Must be able to heavy lift between 15kg to 25kg
- Must be able to stand for long periods of time
- Must be able to work in a Wet/Dusty/Dirty environment
- Machine operation experience is desirable but not essential
- Minimum 3months labouring experience or similar
- Minimum 3months General hand experience or similar
