Bass Coast Health (BCH) is the sub-regional health service for the Bass Coast and South Gippsland Shires, with sites at Wonthaggi, Cowes, San Remo.
In order to support our rapidly growing population, we're growing our services and the complexity of our organisation. One of the fastest growing services we have is our Better@Home program which encompasses Hospital in the Home, Gem@Home, High Risk foot clinic and our infusion clinics. Better@Home provides hospital level care to our consumers in their home environment often resulting in better outcomes. While the successful applicant will be experienced and able to work autonomously, ongoing education will be provided and encouraged to ensure our nurses are providing the best evidence based care to our clients and are able to work in all areas of the the Better@Home department.
Position Summary
Nursing role and duties include but is not limited to management of
- complex and negative pressure wound therapy
- long term IVABs
- PICCs and ports
- Rehabilaitation AT HOME
- Working in the infusion clinic
Requirements of the position are:
- Valid Police Check
- Working with Children Check
- COVID-19 Vaccination in accordance with the Chief Health officer COVID-19 Mandatory vaccination Directions
- Flu Vaccination
- Current drivers license
