We are currently seeking a creative and dynamic Chef De Partie for our award winning property.
Your primary responsibilities will include:
· Assist the Executive Chef and Sous Chef to deliver high standards in all Kitchen Operations
· The quality & presentation of all menu items represents value for money to our guests and that their expectations are exceeded at all times
· The use of suitable seasonal, regional, & quality produce that reflects Silverwater’s food standard
· An effective system of quality control for all kitchen operations
· Assist in training and leading the resorts kitchen brigade
· Assist with the implementation of company policies and procedures
· Manage and mentor staff to achieve financial and service goals
· Assist with menu creation and costings
· Liaise with suppliers to lock in the best pricing.
· Drive a "can do" culture within the kitchen team
The ideal candidate will possess the following attributes:
· Have Certificate IV in Commercial Cookery or Diploma in Hospitality
· Have 2-3 years of experience in a similar position
· Possess proven commercial and organisational skills
· Have excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
· Have a genuine passion for food
