Casual General Hands and cleaners needed!
Are you semi-retired or looking for some work during school hours? We are currently seeking to appoint a number of casual staff to carry out various task across our facility.
St Anthony’s Family Care (SAFC) is a mid-size charity which delivers a range of services to support children and young adults of all abilities. Our services include an inclusive Early Learning Centre and a range of individual, group and accommodation services for children and young adults with disabilities.
Key Responsibilities but not limited to:
- Cleaning Yard and Carpark: Maintain a clean and organised outdoor environment by regularly cleaning the yard and carpark area using outdoor wheeled vacuum and other equipment.
- Maintaining Gardens: Care for and enhance the appearance of our gardens, by hedging, pruning, and weeding.
- Building Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance tasks to keep the company buildings in good condition, addressing minor repairs as needed.
- Washing Company Vehicles: Responsible for washing and maintaining the cleanliness of company vehicles to present a professional image.
- Cleaning Children’s playground equipment: the cleanliness and safety of children's playground equipment, creating a secure and enjoyable environment.
- Mowing Lawns: Keep the lawns trimmed and well-maintained, contributing to the overall appearance of the property.
- Remove debris from roofs and gutters on various single-story buildings.
- Cleaning of administration building and accommodation facilities which may include vacuuming, mopping, cleaning kitchens and bathrooms, wiping down hard surfaces and glass.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience cleaning roles or a related field is desirable but not mandatory.
- Ability to perform manual tasks and operate and care for maintenance equipment.
- Strong attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
- Good time management skills and the ability to priorities tasks efficiently.
- A positive attitude and a willingness to work independently as well as part of a team.
