General Labourer / Powder Coater

Sunshine Powder Coatings is a family owned and operated business based on the Sunshine Coast. We are seeking a General Labourer/All Rounder. This job will be immediate start and potential full time employment for the right candidates. Females are encouraged to apply.

To be successful you must have the following attributes: -

General Labourer – Duties and responsibilities: 

• Worked in coating environment preferred but not essential. 
• Willingness to learn.
• General labouring will include but not limited to – Prepping metal, hanging, packing, forklift driving, hoist crane operation, dealing with regular customers etc
• Be able to work under pressure.
• Be able to work with others to achieve deadlines.
• This Position has the ability to grow into opportunities with on job training
• We offer training on corrosion control strategies, and the latest surface coating technology 

Both Positions will need skills and experience: 

• Forklift License (preferred)
• Ability to start immediately 
• MUST be reliable 
• MUST have current work references 
• Ability to start immediately 
• Monday – Friday, 9am - 5pm
• Overtime available most days and Saturday mornings
• Follow workplace health and safety 
• Must have own reliable transport to get to and from work
• Ability to multi-task, self motivation, willingness to learn other fields of our factory and a proactive attitude
