AddressWe are currently seeking an experienced General Maintenance person to join our Maintenance Team at Fitzroy Island Resort.
This is a CASUAL position, commuting to the Island 5 days/week.
Job Description:
Perform General Maintenance and repairs of the Resort buildings, outdoor areas and staff areas.
Responsibilities include:
- Carry out scheduled maintenance as per the Resort Maintenance plan.
- Carry out minor repairs to buildings and facilities including but not limited to hotel, office and staff areas.
- Carry out minor repairs to furniture and fittings.
- Maintain all equipment and tools in good order.
- Report any maintenance issues to Management.
- Ensure grounds are kept tidy including but not limited to removal and placement of rubbish/recycling materials in appropriate areas.
- Other duties as required by Management.
About You:
- Perform all tasks in a safe manner observing sound OH&S practices.
- Projects a professional image at all times.
- Works under pressure without negative impact.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
- Develops and maintains co-operative working relationships.
- Works well unsupervised.
Mandatory:
- Employees whose duties include driving a company vehicle, must hold a current QLD Driver’s License.
