We are currently recruiting a General Maintenance Person.
Details:
Tingalpa location.
Day Shift – Monday- Friday 6:30am-2:30pm.
Full Time Permanent position.
Selection Process: Formal Interview - Site Tour and technical assessment – Online Assessment – Background and Pre-Employment Medical Checks – Decision.
Key responsibilities include:
Perform trouble shooting, planned preventive maintenance and corrective maintenance on plant and equipment.
Perform minor installation and commissioning work as required.
Perform work in a professional, timely and safe manner within PepsiCo Safety and Environmental management systems.
Update and extract data from the Computerised Maintenance Management System (SAP).
Assist to identify, document, and implement improvements to maintenance work methods.
Requirements for the role:
Mechanical Engineering qualifications to Trade certification as a minimum.
Experience in trouble shooting and fault finding.
Ability to work autonomously and safely under pressure.
Ability to solve problems using a systematic approach.
A flexible attitude, willingness to work overtime, attend training and work on other shifts as required. Food industry experience would be an advantage.
