About the role
The Township is looking to bring on an energetic, creative, driven and competitive Commercial General Manager to join our growing team located in Brunswick. Reporting directly to the CEO, your day-to-day responsibilities are:
- Grow revenue and achieve sales targets on a quarterly basis through the promotion of our marketing, creative and related professional services.
- Identify and engage new business opportunities through cold calls, attending networking events, promotions to develop new ideas and opportunities
- Develop and maintain a strong sales pipeline, by prospecting potential new customers, working with active customers and new business wins
- Forecast sales targets, updating customer details and completing key reporting
- Plan approaches and pitches for new business through positive engagement with the broader Township teams; connecting and collaborating with experienced team members.
- Lead our team of Account Directors and Account Managers, providing guidance and overseeing their professional development.
- Work with the executive leadership team to support the future growth of the agency, contributing to strategic and operational oversight while ensuring that stakeholders are well informed of sales pipeline health and related insights.

Skills and experience
- Previous working experience in an agency sales, business development or account management role achieving/exceeding sales targets
- Proven experience in client facing roles in Sales using current technology to present to clients, showcasing your clear communication and your strong negotiation skills
- Ideally tertiary qualifications and/or certifications in Marketing, Design or relevant qualifications/industry knowledge
- Previous working experience managing and growing a team within an agency or similar environment
