General Manager Corporate Affairs (Permanent)

- Developing the business through funding streams and partnerships and devising new product lines or services on an industry needs basis.
The role
The General Manager of Corporate Affairs plays an important role in the leadership team of Incolink. They are responsible for the oversight of Public Affairs and Member Engagement reporting to the COO. The role supports Incolink’s expansion agenda and meeting the fund’s broader strategic objectives.

Responsibilities
Reporting to the Chief Operating Officer, the role is responsible for supporting the COO with strategy, public affairs and member engagement to help grow the Fund.
This will involve:
- Leading the fund’s Government Relations strategy.
- Being part of the Leadership team formulating and implementing the strategy and future direction.
- Assisting with the framing of the annual budget for Incolink.
- Identifying stakeholders and industry allies.
- Working with unions and other member organisation to expand the operational footprint and services with a focus on digital delivery.
- Formulate policy as requested by the CEO, CFO or General Counsel or COO, including corporate governance matters.
- In conjunction with the COO, developing and oversight of membership engagement.
- Participating in special projects of strategic importance to the organisation.
- Representing Incolink at industry forums, Government and professional associations.
- Working with the CEO, and executive team to prepare and present submissions to government as required.
- Representing Incolink in the media when delegated to by the CEO.

- Understanding of government, regulation and member organisations.
- Exposure to and understanding of the commercial construction industry.
Required:
The successful candidate is expected to have at least one formal qualification in Management or relevant on the job experience.
