Lions Haven is a leading not-for-profit 121 bed Residential Aged Care Facility in Hope Island. Our fully accredited modern facility, which includes a 20 bed memory support wing, offers a safe and comfortable environment to ensure quality of life to our residents, staff and visitors. Residents have the freedom to enjoy life in a homelike atmosphere.
Reporting to the CEO, this position has full responsibility of a number of departments including People and Culture, Administration, IT and Lifestyle. They will also be responsible for liasing with a number of external stakeholders and will assist in driving strategic actions, planning, improvements, reporting and grant applications.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor Degree in Management, HR or equivalent (desirable)
- Proven experience in a senior management role within the Aged Care or healthcare industry
- Expereience in not-for-profit sector (desirable)
- Strong leadership and management skills with the ability to motivate and inspire staff.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Sound financial management skills with experience in budgeting and financial reporting.
- A commitment to delivering high-quality Aged Care and services
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide strong leadership and direction to the Administration, HR, IT, and Lifestyle departments.
- Assist CEO to oversee the day-to-day operations of the facility, including budget management, staffing, and resident care.
- Assist the CEO in collating board and committee reports, and present relevant departmental updates during executive meetings.
- Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards.
- Foster a positive and supportive environment for residents, families, and staff.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with residents, families, staff, and external stakeholders.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance the quality of care and services provided
- Assist in driving Capital and Infrastructure improvements as required
- Development and submission of relevant Grant, Trust and Foundation applications.
- Assist CEO in administrative tasks including communications, minutes and other tasks as required.
- Following industry trends, inlcuding linkages to relvant stakeholders, industry bodies, and community groups.
