NRMA Darlington Beach Holiday Resort is a sprawling 110 acres of beachside rainforest and will be your new home-away-from-home.  It is located just 30-minutes north of the subtropical city of Coffs Harbour on the Mid North Coast of NSW.

The Resort offers a large range of camp/caravan sites and accommodation options, from Villa’s, to Glamping Tents.  Nestled right on the beach, we offer a multitude of facilities for the young and young at heart; a water park, resort style pools, lawn bowls, archery, nine holes of golf and a licenced on-site bistro.  This is a pet friendly park that also offers a daily mingle with the free roaming Kangaroos.

Reporting to the Operations Manager, you will operate a profitable and sustainable business, maximising a return on capital investment.

You will consider yourself a confident, 'all round' leader, as this varied role will see you, build and maintain successful relationships with employees, guests and key stakeholders.  You will provide a versatile and hands on approach in leadership, support and in all areas of park operations.

What You’ll do

• Overseeing the smooth running of park day to day operations
• Ensuring an amazing guest experience and maintain appropriate levels of quality staff in all areas of Park operations, in order to provide excellence in service standards
• Overseeing asset management focusing on the protection and preventive maintenance of key assets and buildings
• Managing financial budgets in respect to incremental revenue targets and labour and operating costs and monthly re-forecasts
• Capital works project management
• Establishing, monitoring and managing key business performance indicators
• Monitoring and maintaining a high standard of safety of all guests, visitors and employees
• Proven ability to manage and develop staff of all levels

What you’ll bring 

• Previously managed or held an extensive senior role in a holiday park, resort, or similar tourism related role. 
• You will have experienced working in an environment where initiative, organisational and advance planning skills are essential. 
• Previous experience in managing properties with a Food & Beverage outlet will be highly regarded.
• You will demonstrate a flexible attitude to work and the passion to work as part of an operational team who are hands on, confident and have a passion for delivering outstanding guest relations.
• You will possess excellent verbal and written communication skills and have proven evidence of successful financial and strategic management and ability.
• You are a hands-on leader; you walk the talk and can communicate to and manage staff at all levels.
