The Opportunity:
As the General Manager of Finance at Amira, you'll form part of our executive management team, reporting directly to the CEO. Your role will be pivotal in shaping and executing financial strategies that support our growth objectives. From overseeing global financial operations to providing strategic insights, you'll be instrumental in driving our financial success.
Your primary accountabilities will include:
- Formulate and implement financial strategies in alignment with Amira’s strategic objectives.
- Oversee financial operations on a global scale to facilitate growth and adaptability.
- Set and enforce corporate finance regulations and ensure adherence.
- Guarantee adherence to financial audit requirements.
- Prepare comprehensive financial documents for board meetings as per the Boards request.
- Identify and address potential financial and operational risks.
- Cultivate strong relationships with stakeholders and financial entities.
- Engage in collaborative efforts with a global and diverse team to enhance organisational efficiency.
- Collaborate with Amira’s Executive team to develop strategic plans to deliver on Amira’s purpose and operational mission.
To be considered you will need:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
- Chartered Accountant (Preferred).
- Minimum 5 years of financial management experience.
- Advanced analytical, forecasting, and strategic planning skills.
- Deep understanding of financial regulations and compliance.
- Proven leadership and team development capabilities.
- Proficient in data analytics and financial automation tools.
- Excellent communication and relationship management skills.
