As a key member of our executive team, you will directly report to our Chief Executive Officer and play a vital role in spearheading growth initiatives within new and existing GPEx healthcare ventures. Leveraging collaborative networks in both private and public sectors, you will need to demonstrate commercial acumen, persuasive communication skills, and a proven track record in developing and managing new business and Partnerships and bringing them to life.

The Position

Your responsibilities will include driving GPEx's strategic expansion into new markets, with an initial focus on clinical trials but with a dynamic agenda including scaling our capabilities in care models, workforce planning, education, and evaluation. You will be tasked with securing strategic deals, partnerships, and tender opportunities to diversify GPEx's capabilities, ensuring financial sustainability while delivering innovative solutions to support primary care. 

To be successful in the role we are looking for someone who has a strong skills and proven experience in the following:

  • Strong business acumen and the ability to identify, evaluate, and secure new business opportunities and partnerships.
  • Extensive existing networks and relationships within the healthcare and / or clinical trials ecosystems.
  • Experience in oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of new initiatives ensuring they align with strategic goals and meet stakeholder expectations.
  • Demonstrated expertise in tendering processes, including identification of consortia opportunities and preparation of competitive tenders, proposals, and grant applications to secure funding and opportunities.
  • Competence in financial management to develop and manage budgets for projects and partnerships, ensuring financial sustainability and accountability.
  • Analytical prowess to conduct thorough market analysis, identifying trends, opportunities, and competitive threats to inform strategic decisions and project priorities.
  • Proven leadership experience in healthcare project management, partnerships, or business development, showcasing strategic thinking and negotiation skills in securing deals and partnerships.

Desirable:

  • Prior experience in clinical trials, shared care models, workforce planning or education, would be looked upon favourably.

Employment terms and conditions will be consistent with the Fair Work Act 2009 and set out in a contract of employment. Annual salary reflects individual skills and experience.  There will occasionally be a requirement to attend activities outside of normal business hours.
