About the Role:
We're looking for a General Manager who is an inspirational leader with a passion for the industry and a desire to maximise the resort's potential. Reporting direct to the business owner, you'll lead the management team, ensuring operational efficiency, growth, and exceptional guest experiences.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement strategic plans to achieve organizational growth and maximize customer satisfaction.
- Establish and maintain high operational standards in line with international best practices.
- Lead and motivate the management team to ensure optimum operational efficiency.
- Oversee budgeting, financial management, and capital allocation.
- Foster a positive work environment, promoting career development and employee morale.
- Ensure compliance with organizational policies, procedures, and standards.
- Enhance the hotel's reputation and goodwill through collaboration with Marketing manager on effective marketing and public relations strategies.
Staff Training and Development:
- Conduct ongoing training to enhance employee skills and promote multifunctionality.
- Implement career development and succession planning initiatives.
- Utilize performance appraisal systems to review and improve employee performance.
- Collaborate with Human Resources Manager on hiring, promotion, and disciplinary actions.
- Stay updated on industry trends and developments, attending and implementing relevant training programs.
