The position of General Manager Warehouse & Operations at Godden Food Group is a Full Time Salary position and will include all aspects of Supply chain management for all our business units.
We have a number of exciting initiatives on the horizon at GFG so need someone who comes to us with strong experience, great time management & a proven track record in leadership, driving efficiency, systems and compliance as well as project management. The new team member must have a great can do attitude & strong values not afraid to roll your sleeves up but also be just as comfortable in a meeting environment with our leadership team.

The Role:
- Lead a team of industry professionals with direct & non-direct reports
- Ensure the warehouse operates at peak efficiency, with customer satisfaction being the primary goal, by supervising, organising, directing, and training warehouse employees and establishing, monitoring, and managing operation goals
- Develop warehouse operations systems by determining product handling and storage requirements, equipment utilisation, inventory management and transportation
- Train and manage a warehouse team to solve day-to-day operational issues and reach short- and long-term performance goals
- Oversee daily operations, while controlling and managing all aspects of warehouse and logistics
- Review and improve workflow and action plans while ensuring productivity, quality and customer service standards are met
- Work with all departments to ensure adequate communication flows and teamwork
- Maintain a safe and healthy work environment by establishing, following, and enforcing standards and procedures and complying with legal regulations
- Oversee and manage WPHS as well as HACCP & Food-Safety
