About us:
ForPark is the largest manufacturer and supplier of play equipment, outdoor fitness equipment and park furniture in Australia. Local government, education and commercial businesses throughout Australia have been using ForPark as their primary supplier since 1979. We are proudly Australian owned with offices all over the country that offer local service and expertise.
We are looking to fill Multiple roles in our Welshpool factory:
- Packers and Parts Assemblers
- Forklift driver (must have a license)
- Tube Laser Cutter Operator
We are looking for people with an eye for detail, and general experience working in a manufacturing environment. The Positions will require a diverse range of hand skills and being Physically fit and able to lift awkward Items from time to time. You will work as part of a close-knit team where safety is a priority.
Role responsibilities:
- Assembly of play and fitness equipment using basic hand, Air, and power Tools.
- You will be required to pick components from stores and inspect for defects and suitability for use.
- Pallet making and packing of play and fitness equipment
- Picking and checking parts from the Inventory List.
- Ability to work safely in a team and also autonomously with minimum supervision
- Read and Complete QA & job paperwork.
- Follow Company policies and QA, and OHS Procedures at all Times.
- Operation of CNC Machine an advantage
Qualifications:
- Experience working in a warehouse, manufacturing, or factory environment.
- Leadership and team management skills.
- Understanding of safety and compliance in a warehouse setting.
- Effective communication and problem-solving abilities.
- Physical fitness and the ability to lift and move heavy objects may be required.
- Safe operation and Use of hand and power tools.
- Forklift license
