About the Role: A terrific opportunity is available for a general Maths teacher to join a Secondary School in Melton in Term 1, 2024. Instructing students in years 7-10 in General Maths, join this co-educational school which caters to approximately 1500 students spanning from years 7-12, welcoming of both seasoned educators and recent graduates.
Key duties:
Collaborate within a supportive Maths faculty, teaching students in years 7-10
Create and formulate comprehensive lesson plans, assessments, and curriculum materials adhering to Australian curriculum standards in Mathematics
Conduct dynamic and impactful classroom instruction, cultivating a positive and enriching learning atmosphere
Demonstrate a dedication to ongoing professional development and growth
Embrace the educational philosophy of the school, with an understanding that adherence to the Islamic faith is not mandatory, and there are no strict dress requirements.
Skills & Experience:
Completed relevant Qualifications in Education
Maintain a valid and up-to-date VIT registration
Have unrestricted working rights in Australia
Demonstrate previous experience in teaching General Maths
Ability to provide contact details for two education-based references from within the last 5 years (student-teacher mentors are acceptable).
