· FINISH: Friday 5 April 2024 2024 (1630)
Supporting the medical team, weekly ward round and MDT at our other campus in Toowoomba for sub acute patients and phone support to registrar for subacute patients
Roster
Roster is Monday to Friday 0800 – 1630. Oncall is required. Oncall is approximately one night per week and one weekend in four. Oncall will be confirmed prior to commencement.

- Locum medical officers confirmed dates of availability
- Current signed and dated CV.
- Two references – no more than 12 months old and at least one from a current position
- Certified copies of Drivers Licence and passport
Accommodation
Accommodation is provided during the period of this locum.
Travel
Return economy travel to and from Toowoomba is provided. If locum is driving their own vehicle, mileage can be claimed for the return trip at 75 c/km.
Medicare
It is mandatory for the locum to obtain a rebateable provider number prior to commencement.
IMPORTANT
Candidates must have specialist registration with AHPRA.
Mandatory:
- Resume – please make sure that it is a current resume – as facility/ward will disregard reading if work experience is from over a year ago.
- 2x Referee Reports. Referee reports must be one (1) from a line manager who has worked with the Candidate within the last three (3) months, and one (1) from a referee who has worked with the Candidate within the last twelve (12) months.
- AHPRA Registration – must be current
- Australian National Police Check – must be current, valid for 3 years
- Immunisation – Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Varicella, Hep B, Pertussis (must be from within the last 10 years) ADT will not be accepted nor will pertussis serology.
- Vaccine Preventable Diseases:
- Vaccine Preventable Diseases Form including evidence of vaccines/immunity
- Tuberculosis risk assessment questionnaire
- Proof of 3 COVID Vaccinations
- Proof of 1 Flu Vaccination
- Photo Identification – current passport or driver’s license with clear legible photo and writing – if it has expired, this is not acceptable.
Applications will remain current for 12 months, and the successful candidate may be considered for similar locum placements during this period.
