Soudan Station
Through a recent restructure, Soudan Station, formerly an outstation of Alexandria, will now operate independently, creating an exciting opportunity for a Bore Runner to join the Soudan crew. Soudan Station runs approx. 25,000 head of cattle and is located on the Barkly Highway, 1 hour west of Camooweal.
 
The role
Reporting to the Station Manager, we are currently seeking an experienced Bore Runner, to work in a permanent full-time position at our Soudan Station, NT.
 
Day to day duties include, but are not limited to:
  • Monitoring and maintaining water supplies and associated infrastructure for livestock
  • Re-fuelling / starting pumps
  • Checking on stock
  • Maintaining fences
  • Working alone and unsupervised
  • Performing your job safely and operating equipment in a safe manner
Ideally the successful candidate will:
  • Have experience working as a Bore Runner
  • Hold a current C class drivers licence
  • Be a self-starter that is able to work autonomously and unsupervised
  • Prior mechanical experience would be highly regarded
  • Be committed to working safely in accordance with NAPCo's HSE policies and procedures

Pre-employment requirements: Prior to commencement, all new employees are required to undertake an Australian National Police Check and are also required to be vaccinated against Q Fever (all associated costs covered by NAPCO).
