Form of work We are looking for a General Pactice Nurse (RN) to join our friendly team at Wallsend GP Clinic. Our practice is a well established, accredited clinic and we work in a warm and supportive environment.
As an RN your responsibilities will include:
Performing health assessments
Administering vaccines and post-vaccination monitoring
Triaging patients
Arranging care plans
Patient health education
Minor surgical procedures- wound dressings, suture removals etc.
ESSENTIAL SKILLS REQUIRED FOR THIS POSITION:
Excellent communication and teamwork skills are important in this role
Strong time-management, multi-tasking and organisation skills to work in a fast-paced, busy practice
Professional, well-presented and pleasant in the way they approach others
Punctuality and reliability
Works with honesty and integrity
ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS:
Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse
DESIRABLE QUALIFACTIONS:
Experience with Best Practice Clinical Software is preferable.
Previous experience in a medical practice
JOB DETAILS:
We are able to offer a Part-time Permanent position and your salary can be negotiable ($35-45 per hour). If a casual position is what you prefer, we are willing to discuss this as well.
Our practice working hours are Monday to Friday 8:30am- 6:00pm and we do not work on weekends.
