Role Responsibilities:

As a Part-Time Practice Nurse at Green Square Health, you will:

• Provide top-notch patient care, including vaccinations, wound care, infusions, and health assessments.
• Assist in chronic disease management and deliver patient education.
• Collaborate seamlessly with our multi-disciplinary team to ensure comprehensive patient care.

Qualifications & Skills:

To thrive in this role, you’ll need:

• Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse.
• Previous experience in General practice or primary care is highly preferred.
• Strong communication skills with a patient-centered approach.
• The ability to work autonomously and collaboratively within a team.

Applicants should have:

• GP clinic experience, demonstrating a pleasant and professional manner with patients and co-workers.
• Proficiency in performing General practice nurse duties, including immunizations, procedure assistance, wound care, and stock checking.
• Nurse immuniser qualified and venepuncture skills (highly desired).
• Experience with all types of Care Plans and Health Assessments, showcasing leadership in chronic disease management processes.
• Effective management of reminder and recall systems.
• The ability to thrive in a team environment with strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Experience with Best Practice software or similar is an advantage.
