SalaryGeneral Practice seeking a friendly and enthusiastic Enrolled Nurse to join our team in a supported environment.
Clinic hours : 8.30 -4.30 pm, Weekdays, Sat 8.30am-12.30pm
Essential:
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Have a high standard of English language skill.
Be reliable, efficient and willing to learn new skills.
Enjoys working with young families and children
A team player but also able to work independently
Key Skills:
Knowledge of immunisation schedule and be confident giving injections.
Familiarity with Best Practice software
Current APHRA registration
Current professional development
Duties include ( not limited to):
Administering vaccines (including to children)
Assisting in minor procedures, dressings , venepuncture, infusions other ad hoc nursing duties
Maintaining cold chain and vaccine stock
Autoclaving and managing treatment room supplies
Triage, dealing with phone enquiries ( including bookings)
Nursing administration duties eg. Recalls and clinical duties
