​Practice Information:
Myall Medical Practice is a mixed billing practice operating 7 days/week.

Practice hours:

• Monday to Thursday: 7am to 7pm
• Friday: 7am to 5pm
• Saturday: 8am to 4pm
• Sunday: 10am to 2pm
• Public Holidays: CLOSED

The practice is owned by a group of 5 Doctors who all work in the Practice. We are an accredited practice through AGPAL.

In July 2016 we established new purpose-built premises for our practice. Our practice building of 800 square metres comprises of the following:

• 20 consult rooms
• 4 bed treatment room
• 3 procedure rooms
• sterilizing unit
• training room
• small meeting room
• large staff kitchen with outdoor seating area
• 5 patient waiting areas
• 50 on-site car parks

Our current team profile includes:10 x GP's

• 2 x GP Registrars
• 4 x Registered Nurses
• 5 x Enrolled Nurses
• 9 x Receptionists
• 1 x Practice Manager
• 1 x contract Bookkeeper

6 of our GP's are accredited supervisors with RACGP and ACRRM, with a long term commitment to the supervision and training of GP Registrars. We support medical students from University of Queensland - Rural clinical School, Griffith University and John Flynn placement program across the span of the year and take both 3rd and 4th year students.

We offer a diverse range of services to meet the needs of our patients from birth to the end of life. Services include but not limited to: family medicine, women's health, mental health, occupational medicine, skin cancer management, chronic disease management, immunisations including Q-fever, minor procedures, nursing home/aged care, home visits, palliative care, after hours service to registered patients of the practice, vasectomy, telehealth, botulin injections.

We also prioritise the use of modern technology in our practice, with a vast range of equipment on-site and available for use by the clinical team; the integration of software and devices with our clinical software and a robust server environment to support the business.

Some of our Doctors provide VMO services to the local Hospital (anaesthetics, obstetrics). With approved credentialling rights, GP are able to manage private in-patients at the local hospital.

Dalby Allied Health - offering Physiotherapy, Exercise Physiology, Occupational Therapy, Speech Pathology, Psychology, Dietetics, Diabetes Education, Audiology; and group classes in pilates, latin dance, hydrotherapy, rehabilitation
Marissa's Espresso - on-site coffee shop

The Dalby Region is a vibrant 'go ahead' rural community with a town population of approximately 12,000 with a further 5,000 residing in the rural district. Dalby is a great town to raise a family, offering the relaxed rural lifestyle but at the same time offering modern facilities and services to meet the needs of the local community.

Situated in the rich soils of the Darling Downs, Dalby is just 211 km north west of Brisbane and is at the crossroads to Toowoomba, Kingaroy, Roma, Mundubbera and Goondiwindi. Dalby and the surrounding Western Downs region is at the centre of rich coal and natural gas reserves.

The region is renowned as a rich agricultural area, growing crops such as cotton, sorghum, wheat, barley, chickpeas, sunflowers, mung beans and corn as well as the production of lamb, beef and pork.

After Hours: We provide after hours services to registered patients of the practice each day of the year. GP's participate in an on-call roster with an average of 1 night per fortnight and an average of 1 in 7 weekends.

We are seeking a professional, self motivated, and fully qualified VR GP (with no registration limitations) to join our great practice team.
