Established in 2016, our mission is to bring the highest quality healthcare to all Australians, working with hospitals, ambulance services, Primary Health Networks, urgent care centres, and the general public to provide access to specialist medical advice via video or telephone consultation. Our team of Emergency Doctors (FACEMs), our General Practitioners (GPs) provide care virtually to rural and regional hospitals, residential aged care facilities and other organisations across Australia at times and in places where GPs and emergency doctors are most difficult to access
The Opportunity
Our GPs perform a wide variety of consults, so this role is best suited to those who enjoy a breadth of practice and have a particular passion for rural and regional community medicine.
Our GPs through telehealth will support a mix of services including:
Virtual admission service (VAS) to smaller hospitals for stable, low acuity medical patients
Admission and the ongoing management of aged care residents in RACFS
Management of chronic medical conditions in rural and remote areas.

Relevant Skills and Experience
Current AHPRA registration
Fellowship of the Australian College of Rural and Remote Medicine, or the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners or other relevant College an advantage.

Essential Qualities
Ability to gain proficiency in telemedicine tools and digital platforms to be able to provide efficient and effective care remotely (full training provided);
An interest in the practice of telemedicine and comfortable with both remote and digital workflows to deliver medicine;
An interest in working with a diverse group of patients and passionate about preventative care and addressing lifestyle risk factors;
Ability to work in a distributed team including working collaboratively with rural clinicians, nurses, allied health practitioners and specialists to achieve the best outcomes for patients;
