With a focus on showcasing Australian produce and serving sustainable seafood in a beautiful waterfront setting with friendly, attentive service, love.fish has found great success at the Barangaroo precinct.
We are seeking a candidate who will lead our kitchen team, understanding the importance of our core concepts of value, provenance and service.
About the role
Are you an experienced hospitality professional with a positive, can do attitude? This is a highly visible, engaging role and we are seeking a candidate who is passionate about providing an exceptional guest dining experience.
We are seeking a candidate with the following -
• Previous experience as a Head Chef within a high volume, quality focussed restaurant.
• Strong knowledge of Australian seafood and a passion for provenance.
• Strong leadership & communication skills with the ability to inspire, train & motivate.
• Strong understanding of kitchen management & finances.
• Highly organised with ability to put systems and structures into place to meet targets.
• Hands on leader, seeking long term commitment.
• Experience with ‘Cooking the Books’ an advantage.
