GENERAL PRACTITIONER – Medicross Victoria Point
We are expanding rapidly and are now offering an ongoing permanent position to the right candidate, who will benefit from high earning potential due to an established patient base.
With over 17 Medical Centres across Queensland, Medicross provides comprehensive primary healthcare and related services within our network of medical centres.

Role duties & responsibilities:
• Attending individual patients and assessing, advising and making legible records of the assessment and management of the patients.
• Providing skilled health assessment and treatment by diagnosing patients to determine the nature of disorders and illnesses.
• Ordering diagnostic tests and clinical examinations and conducting procedures in accordance with the practice’s procedure.
• Interpreting findings to assist diagnosis followed by prescribing medications and administering treatments. Monitor progress and patients’ response to treatment.
• Refer patients appropriately to specialist practitioners, organise hospital admissions, or refer them to other health providers.
• Monitoring patient’s overall health by advising them on diet, exercise and treatment of disease and disorders.
• Maintaining, recording, and exchanging medical information with other relevant providers.
• Reporting births, deaths and notifiable diseases to the relevant government or agencies in accordance with the health policies.
• Attending medical team meetings and actively participating in the review and development of the professional standards of the medical team.
Requirements of the role
• Must be a registered Medical Practitioner with the skills and qualifications acceptable to the applicable Medical Boards and the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
• At least 5 years’ experience in general practice/general medicine.
• Must hold the FRACGP certificate.

Role Reports to CEO of the Medicross Group.
