The new Mudgee Hospital has recently undergone a $70M AUD upgrade and opened in May 2020. The new hospital services now include:

- Maternity Unit

- Outpatient services
- DPA/MMM4 location eligible for MDRAP, RACGP PEP Standard Stream, RACGP FSP Specialist Stream, Remote Vocational Training Scheme RVTS, ACRRM Independent Pathway, ACRRM Specialist Pathway & Rural Generalist Training Scheme RGTS
