Townsville Private Clinic is a modern 73 bed voluntary private mental health service conveniently located on Wills Street in Townsville’s CBD.
We are seeking a dedicated General Services Officer to join our team in a casual or permanent part time position.
About the role:
Reporting to the Hotel Services Manager the successful applicant will have a working knowledge of the principles of safety within a health care environment and be able to multi skill between the Environmental Services and Catering Departments. The role is a casual or permanent part time position and we offer a flexible approach within the team.
Essential Criteria:
- Proven experience in cleaning services.
- Good work ethics ensuring all delegated areas are cleaned efficiently and in a timely manner.
- Comply with infection control principles.
- Demonstrated commitment to customer service and quality improvement.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment and independently when required.
- Ensure patient and staff environment is maintained to a high standard of cleanliness and hygiene are met.
- Flexibility to work all shifts on all days including weekends.
Desirable Criteria:
- Previous experience within a hospital or hotel environment.
- Certificate 3 in Hospitality Services.
- Ability to work with minimal supervisions and to prioritise work effectively
- Awareness of the HACCP system.
