A focus of this role will be to better understand the systems that lead to discovery of minerals needed for clean energy to help Australia achieve net zero emissions. Your work will help secure more value from our resources and support a thriving domestic manufacturing sector. Our work supports Australian Government initiatives with the aim of stimulating mineral exploration investment, including critical minerals, to open new producing provinces with mineral endowments.
You will work in a team to deliver geological maps and associated data and information for mineral, energy and groundwater systems. The outcomes of the project will support an improved knowledge of Australia’s subsurface and expand the understanding of Australia’s geological potential for new discoveries.
