About the team
The Transport Structures team are responsible for the operational maintenance and capital renewal of more than 700 bridge and major culvert structures and over 1800 retaining walls, across our city. The team provide asset custodian and asset delivery roles for these assets. Some key functions of the service include:
About your new role
As a Geotechnical Engineer, a subject matter expert (SME) and Registered Professional Engineer Queensland (RPEQ), you will provide structural and geotechnical design review services for retaining walls and slope stability assets. The defined program of municipal infrastructure works includes, road bridges, major culverts, pedestrian bridges, retaining walls and landslips. This position also operates under the Asset Custodian Representative to provide an engineering review of City of Gold Coast (City) projects relating to Transport Structures and act on behalf of the Asset Custodian for the portfolio in accordance with the policy.
