SalaryYour duties will include:
- Rock and soil logging according to AS1726:2017 Geotechnical Site Investigation, interpretation of field and laboratory data
- Prepare Site Classification Reports according to AS2870 -2011 Residential Slabs and Footings
- Prepare Reporting of geotechnical investigations for various infrastructures
- Undertake Construction Inspections including crane pad and piling rig platform assessments, footing inspections, and earthwork and excavation stability inspections.
- Undertake Pavement designs in accordance with Austroads Part 2: Pavement Structural Design
- Conduct Land Capability Assessments to determine whether a construction project is viable based on the geological and environment conditions of the site.
- Conduct Landslide Risk Assessments and Slope Stability Modelling
- Conduct Distressed building investigations.
- Provide Quotation and supporting laboratory and field technicians with sound geotechnical advice.
- General client relationship management
- Keep Complete records, reports and statistical information for traceable reference files.
- Comply with all the company workplace health and safety procedures.
To be successfully considered for this Role you possess
- A Degree level Qualification in a highly relevant discipline
- Verifiable work experience of a minimum 2 years in a closely related field.
- A strong work ethic
- A strong attention to detail
- Good problem-solving skills
- Ability to work within a multicultural Engineering team
- Strong communication and report-writing skills
- Practical "can do" approach and good time management skills
- Engineer Australia recognised Engineering Qualification
- Current NER or CPEng – or willingness to obtain.
- Flexibility and willingness to explore and develop new business opportunities.
