As an experienced Project Manager / Service Delivery Manager at IBM Global Business Services, you will be responsible for successful delivery of IBM's Project Services and client commitments. Ensuring that the Management of applications continue to be supported and kept operational. Individuals within this specialty and skill set manage client engagements, ensuring delivery of solutions for complex IT, business, client requirements and operation support.
This specialty is responsible for leading a project team in delivering a solution to the client with overall performance responsibility for managing scope, cost, schedule, and contractual deliverables, which includes applying techniques for planning, tracking, change control, and risk management and keeping the business operational. You are responsible for managing all project resources, including Global Delivery resources, vendors, and subcontractors, and for establishing an effective communication plan with the project team and the client. They provide day to day direction to the project team and regular project status to the client. Also ensure that all applications require support and minor enhancements, with these applications being supported on premise or in the cloud.
The candidate will use their extensive knowledge of Project Management to take a leading role in providing project services and work with your teams to identify and develop preventative measures to reduce Incident/problem reoccurrence in the application domain for IBM client in Perth.
Also responsible for leading and delivering the support of the applications to time, quality and budget using defined methods, processes, and tools. You will use established techniques for estimating and planning, resource management and quality management. You will also work with your teams to identify and develop preventative measures to reduce Incident/problem reoccurrence. You will take end to end accountability for each assigned initiative
