We have an excellent opportunity for an Automation and Control Systems Engineer to join our Engineering team!
About the RoleWith our head office based in Dandenong South, working with our team of Electricians, Engineers (including interns and graduates) and Apprentices, you will:
- Complete a high level of programming, commissioning and fault-finding PLC, HMI, SCADA and motor control
- oversee full project life cycle works and work closely with our industrial electrical trades team
- consulting with clients to establish requirements and scope of works including support with preparation, design and generation of proposals
- Automation and control project design and deliverables to Australian Standards including wiring rules, electrical equipment of electrical machines and safety of machinery
- A degree in Mechatronics or Electrical Engineering, or an Electrical trade certification with related automation post-trade studies and achievements
- A minimum of 2 years related hands-on industry experience
- Experience in Rockwell, Mitsubishi, Schneider, Siemens and Citect preferred, however experience in other vendor platforms is advantageous
- Knowledge of safety of machinery and process control within the food industry, robotics and vision systems would be highly regarded
- Dedicated to good documentation
- Interpersonal and organisational skills
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
