Salary Range: $119,595 - $128,465 (PN: 49660)

Full-time permanent opportunity for an experienced GIS and Spatial Data Manager to deliver high level spatial data analysis, cartography and data manipulation tasks.

This role will assist with ongoing development, training, and operational use of all spatial systems across the SLA and maintaining geospatial specific block data in the Land Inventory System within Salesforce.
The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and maintaining GIS applications and geospatial databases, working with internal stakeholders to support data needs, and communicating findings and recommendations to non-technical audiences.
The suitable candidate will be an experienced GIS mapping expert who is comfortable with operating the ESRI suite of ArcGIS desktop and online applications, as well as willing to keep up to date with technological advancements in the field.
Eligibility/ Other Requirements: Highly Desirable
- Qualifications, and or demonstrated experience in Geospatial mapping programs, with a minimum 5 years’ experience;
- High level of use of Adobe suite software and Computer Aided Design (CAD) software tools is highly desirable.
- Experience working with Salesforce is desirable.
Note: A Merit Pool will be established from this selection process and will be used to fill vacancies over the next 12 months. Selection may be based on application and referee reports only. This position will be moving to a new workplace designed for activity-based working (ABW). Under ABW arrangements, officers will not have a designated workstation/desk.
