This role is responsible for managing all aspects of event planning and execution, from concept development to post-event evaluation. The role requires a detail-oriented individual with strong project management skills and a passion for delivering exceptional events that leave a lasting impression on attendees.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain a holistic calendar of events including those we host as well as third party conferences across all brands and geographies, including budget management.
- Develop and execute comprehensive event strategies that support marketing objectives, enhance brand awareness, and drive lead generation and customer engagement.
- Plan, coordinate, and manage all aspects of event logistics, including venue selection, vendor management, budgeting, scheduling, and on-site coordination.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to define event goals, themes, and messaging, and ensure alignment with overall marketing and brand strategies.
- Lead the creation of event marketing materials, including invitations, promotional collateral, signage, and digital assets, in collaboration with the marketing team and external agencies.
- Oversee event registration and attendee management processes, including RSVP tracking, ticket sales, and attendee communications.
- Coordinate with external partners, sponsors, and vendors to secure sponsorships, partnerships, and other revenue-generating opportunities for events.
- Manage post-event activities, including attendee feedback collection, performance analysis, and reporting, and identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
- Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in event management and marketing, and recommend innovative ideas to enhance event experiences.
- Role modelling the values of the Company, and obliging by the work, health, safety and wellbeing policies and practices in the execution of this role.
Criteria:
- Proven experience (8 years+) in event management, preferably in a marketing or agency environment.
- Strong commercial acumen to drive event objectives, track KPIs and demonstrate ROI for event budget.
- Excellent project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with internal teams, external partners, and vendors.
- Creative thinking and problem-solving abilities, with a keen eye for detail and design.
- Proficiency in event management software and tools (e.g., event registration platforms, project management software, CRM systems).
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and travel as required for event planning and execution.
