We are currently seeking an enthusiastic and engaging Golf Operations Assistant to join our Bingara Gorge Golf team and provide support of the day to day operations of the Golf course and golf shop on the weekends and occasionally during the week if available.

Clublinks operates the Bingara Gorge Golf Course on behalf of the course owner located in Wilton NSW. Bingara Gorge is a unique course designed by Australian Golf Course Architect Graham Marsh and set in magnificent natural surroundings. It features five tees on each hole to deliver a golf experience to excite and challenge players of all levels. The par 72 golf course caters for a variety of routing options to suit all player types.
The Role
You will be involved in delivering all facets of the golf operation including tee time management, competition administration, local rule enforcement, merchandise/stock sales and merchandising and cart management. You will be required to promote and nurture customer relations and enhance the quality of the golf experience. You will be involved in the day-to-day Golf Operations across the golf business delivering:
- Providing exceptional customer service and sales assistance to residents, guests and public players
- Maintenance/cleaning of all golf carts and hire equipment
- Operating the Point-of-Sale system, processing payments and opening / closing procedures
- Administering member competitions and assisting with Member & Guest bookings
- Assist in the running of competitions, corporate golf days and member events
- Competition and Handicap management (MiClub Software)
- General administration duties
- Sales system management
- Stock management and control
About you
- You are dynamic, energetic, vibrant and people focused person with a strong work ethic
- Minimum of 1+ years Golf Operations experience
- Basic golf industry familiarity (general trends in apparel, equipment etc)
- Have good attention to detail with an understanding of Microsoft Office applications
- Experience in Point Of Sale (POS) systems and cash handling (MiClub golf software preferred)
- Stellar written and verbal communication skills
- Flexible availability, mainly on weekends (both AM and PM)
- High level of discretion, confidentiality, professionalism and sensitivity
- Current National Police check, Working with Children check and Senior First Aid qualifications are all desirable
