Our mission is to help more people to hear.The OpportunityWe have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Goods Inwards Inspector to join our logistics team in Macquarie Park, Sydney.Reporting to the Warehouse Manager, you will be working closely with key members of the warehousing and production teams at our world class manufacturing facility, to conduct inspections of inbound components in line with relevant regulatory and quality requirements.Your responsibilities include:

  • Inspecting and testing inbound components and raw material
  • Ensuring correct identification of parts to and in stores
  • Inspecting supporting documentation
  • Maintaining data entry records in Oracle
  • Returning transactions and sending non-conforming items back to suppliers
  • Accepting/rejecting product according to specifications
  • Maintaining accuracy in transactions carried out on a daily basis
About You. As we grow our operations, we are looking for people who share our passion for delivering quality hearing solutions to our customers. To add value to Cochlear in this role, you'll be able to demonstrate the following skills and experience:
  • Experience in the use of measuring Equipment (Metric, calipers, micrometer)
  • Interpretation and Understanding of Technical Drawings
  • Good understanding of Quality requirements & Processes
  • High level of attention to detail and customer service skills
  • Good understanding of Windows based programs, intermediate level PC skills
  • Experience in use of CLTD Oracle Environment (preferred)
  • Background in a regulated supply chain industry (Medical Device/Pharmaceutical/Food/Manufacturing) (preferred)
